I had to make this page just because Google keeps bugging me about it.
The fact is, I have pretty much all of my projects open source, and many times I use them as teaching tools to show to employers that I know what I’m doing when it comes to coding. So if you don’t believe me, look at the code for yourself.
Unless if the app says other wise, I will not collect any data other than what Google already gives me (crashes, how many people are using the app, types of phones it being used, and things like that). Note Google gives that info to all developers on all apps. I am also very open about the back end, and I try to show off new features if and when they come out.
As far as if I do end up collecting any data. I can not guarantee your data will be secure. (Which is why I doubt I will collect anything in the future, but will let you know if I do and what I am collecting). Note all services can’t give you a 100% even if they say they can.
NOTE many of my apps will have a backup solution. This means you can back up whatever to Google Drive or DropBox. It’s up to you to use their services or not.
As far as you using my apps. There is no way I can stop you from stealing my apps, but at least give me credit. Again my biggest point in this is to show possible future jobs that I actually know how to code.
As far as using the apps for hacking and what not. Again I can’t stop you, but legally any use like that is purely on your head.
