This Gmail app is reportedly from the Android version that is yet to be released. Yes, we are talking about the leak of Android 4.2’ Gmail apk. It will be the first time the users will get to see a glimpse of the newest Android version.

In order to install this apk file, you may first require rooting your Android device. Then, the process is very easy. Firstly, you are supposed to uninstall the current Gmail application running on your Android device. This is where rooting comes into action. As Gmail is a system application on most Android devices, it cannot be uninstalled without rooting the device first.
